Go to menu Tools->Sxipper->Preferences, the backup/restore feature is available in the "General" tab.
Next step is an alert. The main issue here is that all information in the backup file/folder are plain text. Anybody who can access the backup content is easily read and understand your information. So the message "We recommend you take steps to protect this data ..." usually means you'd better encrypt it with a password. There are many applications can do that.
Next step is to choose what information need to backup. If you want to transfer the backup file to another computer. The option "Preferences" is not necessary and may cause problem if you restore that information to your new computer.
For Firefox 3.0+, it's possible to put all backup data together into a .zip file. But in Firefox 2.x, that option is not selectable. It just because the API to handle zip is not provided by Firefox 2.x.
In next step, Sxipper will tell you the backup status for each selected contents.
Then you can send the file/copy the folder to another computer and restore from it.
If you just want to backup/restore passwords (which has your trainer name/id), you can use the buttons in "Login" tab. Or if you want to backup/restore persona data, use the buttons in "Form Fill" tab.
Try it and have fun!
